Hi, I'm Andrea,

As a Full Stack Developer at ALTEA TS, I bring a unique blend of skills with a strong emphasis on User Experience design. Having graduated in Communication Theory and Technology from the University of Milan-Bicocca, I’ve developed a deep interest in crafting intuitive and engaging digital experiences. My current work involves developing robust MVC applications, utilizing C# for backend processes and Kendo UI for frontend interfaces. I am passionate about using my technical expertise to guide projects from the initial concept stages through to full software deployment. I excel in collaborative environments and love to share my interests, such as cycling, video games, and playing the piano. My aspiration is to evolve as a UX/UI designer who seamlessly integrates design principles with development skills, creating cohesive and user-centric digital solutions.

During my course of study, I had the opportunity to develop my skills in web design. I attended and successfully completed several web design courses covering both frontend and back-end topics. Additionally, I had the pleasure of becoming passionate about interaction design thanks to a course I took during my last year of undergraduate studies. As a result of this course, I decided to pursue a master's degree that would allow me to deepen my knowledge in User Experience.

I have completed a curricular internship at this company where I held the position of social media manager. I finished the development of the company's website using the Wix CMS. I created the social media channels and also produced some content to be included in the profiles.

UX/UI Designer - Curricular internship

I am carrying out my curricular internship for the master's degree program in Communication Theory and Technology. The internship involves taking on the role of UX/UI designer. In particular, I have conceptually designed new services for the website of the sports medical practice ERGE. Additionally, I have conducted a usability evaluation of the website and their in-house management system. Lastly, I have executed a redesign of both. The project in question is part of my master's thesis. This kind of experience has allowed me to delve deeper into the field of user experience and apply what I have learned during my studies.

Full Stack developer and UX/UI Designer - Extracurricular internship

Within the company, I hold the position of Junior Full Stack Developer. I primarily design and develop custom financial management systems for various clients, such as Stellantis and Magneti Marelli. Through this internship, I am learning all phases of project development, from data management using Microsoft's DBMS to backend logic development in C#, culminating in the development of web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Kendo UI, with a particular focus on jQuery. Additionally, I have brought to the team expertise from my studies at the University of Milan-Bicocca, specifically in User Experience and user interface design, using Figma as the primary tool. This internship is helping me realize my dream of becoming a well-rounded professional, capable of managing a project from inception, starting with initial client analysis, to its completion and deployment.
